A Timeless Journey of Love: Ulung and Fidel at Kampung Adat Siallagan
Under the soft embrace of morning light, Ulung and Fidel stepped into a world where tradition and love intertwined beautifully—Kampung Adat Silahagan. This prewedding shoot wasn’t merely about capturing photos; it was an intimate storytelling of a couple rooted deeply in culture and connection.
Draped in authentic traditional attire, every detail—from the elegant patterns of Ulung’s cloth to the symbolic gold jewelry adorning Fidel—echoed the rich heritage of the Silahagan tribe. The ancient wooden houses with their steep, intricate roofs stood as silent witnesses to their journey, casting long shadows that danced around the couple as they moved gracefully through the village’s sacred spaces.
The atmosphere was a gentle blend of reverence and ease. Ulung and Fidel’s candid smiles and quiet moments reflected their genuine bond, amplified by the warm hues and soft focus of the photographs. From the intricate beads around Fidel’s neck to the subtle clasping of hands near a carved stone bench, the imagery captured not just their love but the cultural narrative they proudly carry forward.
Inside the traditional longhouse, the play of natural light filtering through wooden slits created a magical setting. It highlighted the couple in a tender glow, emphasizing the harmony between them and the ancestral walls surrounding them. The procession across stone courtyards and the calm presence they held amid historic ritual spaces conveyed a timeless elegance that transcends generations.
This prewedding session at Kampung Adat Silahagan beautifully illustrates how love and tradition coexist, creating a story that is as much about heritage as it is about two souls embarking on their lifelong journey together.
